Haile Gebrselassie received an Honorary degree at the University of Birmingham to celebrate his incredible achievements. Haile, the Greatest distance runner of all times has 2 Olympic Gold medals, won 9 world championship titles and broke 27 world records!

Flying visit to the Tour de France |

On July 11, I flew over to Tour de France for an amazing day in the Tour. It was a very exciting stage with crashes, Armstrong losing significant time, a long break. and a new wearer of the yellow jersey. We followed it first in the car in the middle of the race, then by helicopter over the peloton, then back in the car in the direction of Morzine-Avoriaz. Check the photos!

New home, new training ground |

We moved a couple of months ago and it is a beautiful place for training. We step out of our gate and immediately we are on beautiful paths to run and incredible lanes for cycling. I had a big weekend of cycling so took my camera on a gentle 15km recovery run along the canal. Check the photos!

Tour of the Peak District |

On Sunday we rode the 165km Tour of the Peak District. A cyclosportive in one of the most beautiful areas of England. As the name suggests: it was not flat. Can I just recommend that if you are going to an event like this: bring your cycling shoes. Have a look at Nick Horton's very special bike shoes in the photo gallery!
